Maintenance is so much harder than dieting. I let myself relax over Christmas and can feel the pounds slowly coming back. I need to get back into the swing of regular exercise and be a bit stricter with my diet, allowing one treat meal per week. I’ll start by reintroducing a daily food and exercise diary to keep track of what I’m eating. I’m not one for calorie counting, just eating healthy and not eating when full.

Rather than beat myself up over the curry and lager, I’m viewing it as a treat. Today I will be more healthy
